The pre-rut was in full swing tonight as this buck came in to 8 yards after 3 bleats from the primos does in estrous can call..sometimes it works almost too good..came into the left of stand and had no shot until he turned to leave at 22yards went behind small holly bush which allowed me to stand turn and make the shot. Went dowm immediately. Sweet 25 yards drag to old farm road i could drive right too..good as was hunting by myself tonight. First buck in range this season..and it was a nice one for our area...blessed to have the opportunity to hunt and harvest this buck
